Tran has recently completed a combined law and arts degree
majoring in social inquiry at the University of Technology Sydney.
Tran joined NTRU in February 2006 as a part of the National
Internships Program through the Australian National University.
She has an interest in politics and policy making, international
trade and environmental law, Indigenous rights and web based
advocacy. Recently, she completed an honours thesis on the
relationship between land claims under both the land rights and
native title legislation and the implications this has on
Indigenous identity.
Current Research Focus
Tran has been involved in a major project
conducted by the NTRU on state connection requirements. She is now
working on developing research resources on Prescribed Bodies
Corporate and agreement making. Tran is editor of
NTRU
